Syracuse shocks Notre Dame 24-23 - College Football - Rivals.com

He should be happy he doesn't play at Notre Dame.

Even before the end, there was some ugliness for Notre Dame.
The Irish players were pelted by snowballs on the sideline for much of the first quarter by (their own) fans sitting on the student section. Defensive end Ethan Johnson was struck on the left cheek and several other players also getting hit by snowballs despite three announcement urging fans to stop.

Ha, when I saw that, I thought it would have been cool had Lincoln Financial, had it replayed in slow motion, while this was playing in the background....

Let me start by saying that I am not a Crompton supporter by any means, but he did play well at the high school level. He just can't put it together at the college level. I wish more than anything that he never takes a snap as a vol ever again.

We all know how announcers always call players "student athletes"? When he comes out for his first series against UK the should simply call him "student"!:)

how could Rivals & Scouts been soooo wrong about JC? hard to believe he was #3 QB in 2005.

While I believe calling me a "Crompton Supporter" is a mischaracterization, I am unable to respond in full due to a promise not to engage in discussions on the main board until after a new coach has been named. I will be happy to question why you would ever want to see Nick Stephens (and now BJ Coleman) lead the offense again at that point..
