Or maybe you were referring to some top-notch QB we've signed recently that I wasn't aware of? Who is it?
Ok I'm sorry you all are drowning in the Kiffin-Aid but he's not a good enough coach to win games in the SEC with Crompton under center.
So enlighten me Lofton since your so bright. Why do you think Crompton will be any more than the loser we saw last year. Here's a Fin clue for you: Some guys have it and others don't, that's life. Quit hoping for miracles and base your decisions on evidence/statistics and you'll be alot better off in the long run. Crompton is not good enough to direct an offense against SEC defenses. PROVEN FACT!
When Fulmer ran the ship nobody had any optimism but now with a completely unproven rookie at the helm everyone is excited. Please who's kidding who here!
One needs a basic understanding of how the recruitment of QB's work...
You clueless Kiffin-haters seem to be crawling from all these dark damp places more and more by the minute.

Go back and read my thoughts on Crompton. I think he is not a very good QB, nor do I think he is a very good public speaker.
However, I am smart enough to know that Dave Clawson and the rest of the previously incompetent staff had a hand in the lack of improvement of Jon. I am also smart enough to realize that the staff in place now has a track record of doing good things with QB's and other skill positions.
Any other questions ma'am?

I'm sorry how does it work again because all the other schools in the SEC seem to be doing just fine at locking up there signal callers. I would think that if you had the luxury of telling a recruit that your are DEFINATELY going to play as a freshman you should have no problems.
And I never said I hated Kiffin, I said he was unproven. Is that incorrect? Has he done something special as a coach that I wasn't aware of other than run his mouth? And please don't bring up USC because we all know the reason for that schools success!
The real direction of the post was towards Crompton, and if you can say you're fine with him under center then I'm done with the discussion anyway.
So Clawson was the reason Crompton couldn't hit a wide open WR in stride, he was also the reason he fumbled snaps, and the reason he threw to the other team. And the reason he continued to do so this spring. Oh well you'll be back down to earth by winter.

I agree with you guys that last year was just bad play from him all year but I not only think that a lot of it was Clawson, I think Crompton tried to think too much about what he was doing and where he should go if that makes sense? That interview was exactly the way Crompton played last year. With no thought or feeling. He has not improved one eye o ta in the four years he has been wearing #8.
Football isn't Rocket Science if it were Crompton would have the pointy end on the ground and the fins high in the sky!!!
