i think the notre dame fan was a little crazier

Agreed. UT needs to hire a real coach? Like the morbidly obese, motorized scooter-riding, cheeseburger-eating, excuse making, bad haircut-having oaf that rolls along the sidelines in South Bend?

I had dinner last night at a nice spot in downtown Knoxville where Crompton also happened to be dining. He had a new confidence about him that I had never seen before. I am feeling good about him this year.

I have never read a Cropmton interview and had anything other that a sick to my stomach feeling that this guys is our supposed starting QB.

Hey Jon do you think your head coach embarrassed the school? "No Comment"? Basically a yes but I don't want to lose my starting spot so no.

Hey Jon why do you think you'll be better? Just Cuz I'm more confident.

How about "I've been working hard on the things I messed up on last year like taking the snap, dropping back, progressing through my reads, delivering the ball in a good location for the receivers to make plays after the catch, trying not to throw to the other team, etc.

I'm sorry but with this guy under center next year UT will be lucky to win 6 games. And what's even worse is the coaching staff can't even secure a top notch QB for the future even though they will get immediate playing time. Rocky Times on Rocky Top!

Have a clue before posting... Usually works best for all parties involved. That or just don't post at all and save us all a headache.

Ok I'm sorry you all are drowning in the Kiffin-Aid but he's not a good enough coach to win games in the SEC with Crompton under center.

So enlighten me Lofton since your so bright. Why do you think Crompton will be any more than the loser we saw last year. Here's a Fin clue for you: Some guys have it and others don't, that's life. Quit hoping for miracles and base your decisions on evidence/statistics and you'll be alot better off in the long run. Crompton is not good enough to direct an offense against SEC defenses. PROVEN FACT!

When Fulmer ran the ship nobody had any optimism but now with a completely unproven rookie at the helm everyone is excited. Please who's kidding who here!
