Anyone see post game press conference? Crompton came in and told the press he didn't want to here about dropped balls, bad passes, poor line play or the coaches. He said he thought the offense played there game today and executed for the most part. Does he have a concussion? I feel bad for the guys, but it's time to admit that they are just not executing, and are being outplayed. Our next coach will have his hands full with this guy.

The players need to just stop talking to the media at this point.

Make Crompton the 4th string punter for 2009. Seriously.

Go Vols.

Good grief, I am almost ashamed about how I bragged about him in the off season...That boy doesn't have a lick of sense

Me 2. In my worst nightmare I never saw everything playing out this badly. I was arguing that if Crompton came out strong we were a underrated SEC contender. boy was I wrong.

Crompton has proved he is not the smartest guy around. I looked SO forward to him playing this year. He has been a HUGE disappointment!

Are you serious? What has he been smoking?

If that is his expectations of the offense than I dont want him on the team.

Dead serious. Go to the UT Website. The other player was very emotional, but Crompton was arrogant like he was above criticism, clearly he was disappointed but he is in denial.

Somebody with too much time on his hands should go back and put together a greatest-hits collection of VN posts last year about Crompton. It would be bitterly amusing.

I myself would like to travel back in time to when I was walking out of the Georgia Dome last year, when I said that I was pretty happy to see the end of the Ainge Era at UT, so that I could kick myself squarely in the crotch.

no one need's to do that. I don't ever want to see OE's Cromptonite picture again.

I think we all would, except fopr the kick to the nuts. We've already gotten that this year.

You and me both, but not in the crotch. A cross check in the face I can deal with, I'd be out a couple days with a kick square in the nuts.

no i don't. but it's midnight and I just don't care. wasted a trip to knoxville today when I could have just enjoyed a beautiful day on the golf course.
I feel your pain but that's what you get for being a Volunteer football fan in the current climate. Of course I'm kidding but what else is there to do these days.
