Crompton at it again...........

agreed, crompton needs to go.

Why are we wasting a scholarship on him anyways? He proved last year that he is incapable of handling an offense and he hasnt improved this spring.

Some people just cant handle the pressure and demand of perfection. He doesnt have the talent to lead a SEC team.

Bench him.

Not true. Talent is there. The debate is over decision-making skills. If he shows enough for Kiffin to start him, I'll accept that gladly--partly because I know that he DOES have the raw talent.

You basically said he needed to look sexier...completely different
Stop putting words in my mouth! I said he looks like a scrub. The same as he plays. Just because you have homosexual tendencies toward Crapton, doesn't mean I want him more sexy. Grow up.:

Anyone who childishly mocks a kid's name (ie. Crapton) has no business telling someone else to grow up.

maybe they just need to keep him out of the film room.:banghead2:

Gosh I feel the sme way... I can not stand this guy at all. He sucks and I will always feel this way. This guy will never improve. He thinks that he is the best thing to walk on the field and when he makes a mistake he blames it on everyone but him. How did this guy get on the team anyway as QB, out of all things! I wonder how he feels to be one of the reasons why we lost so much last season.

Probably not lonely, as there were a whole lot of those.

"It's frustrating, but it's something to learn from," he said. "Nobody's going to be perfect every day. We're going to go back in here and watch this film and learn from it, and try not to make the same mistakes again."

Is he implying that he's been perfect on any other day? Has Crompton EVER been perfect? Has he ever been atleast decent? He should have said, "Nobody's going to be just ok everyday."

This guy has got to go, seriously, do something to get kicked off Jonathan, PLEASE!!!

IMO it is very naive to believe everything someone says to media, is 100% the way they think about things. This includes the new staff, old staff and all players...

Know anything good Larry?

I heard you had some medical problem. You OK now?

Fell on the 5th and broke my right hip. had surgery on the 7th, 4 screws put in. In rehab next several weeks and restricted to home.

Not hearing much on hill. I guess this is a good place to mention things i heard about QB.

heard from 3 separate people who had spoken with 3 separate groups of players. Players feel 8 is QB and far ahead of others. Feel real comfortable with him

not sure how significant that is but thought I would mention it.

oh yeah, my November prediction on 8-12 defections of some kind from roster, is ahead of schedule with 7 already. That concerns me because I'm now thinking we exceed 12 now with all summer to go. I'm really worried about fall depth. Especially if 4-5 in coming kids don't make it.. I think 2 more likely but could go higher....

do you think its worth it to let him start or to let coleman get more reps and get better for the future?

Let the best players play...I don't believe Kiffin has any intention of dismissing this season as a lost cause

the coaches will play the guys they believe give them the best chance to win. I've no idea what they should do other than try to win. I always felt the previous staff played kdis who they thought gave them best chances. I believe this one will also.

That will upset some fans but I'd love to see him redeem himself. Earning the confidence of the team is a big step.

Kinda figured that was you considering who I was seeing repeat it but I hadn't seen it from your hand until now.

Do you have a list of possibles you want to share? Or else do you have a list of new guys that are borderline?

If not, what made you think they'd have those levels of losses?

How about Walls? He seems to be a guy who could contribute early.

Don't worry about depth... it was already a serious issue. They've actually patched OL together better than I thought. I was pretty disappointed when they only signed two OL's and pretty much no help at DT besides Hughes.

Schofield has been my pick to play early for awhile... Know any more about him?

Also its not like we have a deep talent pool at QB.

It wouldn't be any more shallow if Crompton wasn't part of it.

If the QBs stink as bad as they did last year, then do what Fulmer FINALLY did after he got fired. Put in a high school offense and run the ball. The defense will be good enough to win enough to get back in a bowl if the offense just doesn't mess it up.

I wonder how he feels to be one of the reasons why we lost so much last season.
I wonder how Phil Fulmer feels to be the guy who gave Crompton so many opportunities to lose games for us last season.

I like Fulmer. Still wish he was our coach. But he's the one who kept putting Crompton out there. And if Lane Kiffin is stupid enough to repeat that mistake, shame on him too.

It's kind of funny to see all this Crompton hate going on. Way back in 2007 Crompton was the awesome stud QB languishing on the side line behind worthless Ainge. His only claim to fame was a decent game against LSU. Now after one terrible year for the entire offense and coaching staff he's the worst ever.

If he is better than the other QBs then play him. I hope he gets it together and has a good year for himself personally and for the team.

I trust Chaney and Kiffin, if they think Crompton gives them the best chance then that means he probably does. They don't have any loyalties one way or the other except to put the best players on the field.

We need to give the entire offense a second chance. Not just Crompton. Crompton is getting too much heat for the failure of the ENTIRE O. They all sucked last year. Every last one of them.

And that speaks more to the system and the coaching and the play calling, rather than the players.
