Creating the Perfect SEC Wide Receiver

Give me the speed of Willie Gault, the skill of Carl Pickens, the attitude of Eric Swanson, and the hearts of Tim McGhee and Peerless Price.

Have already seen him, Julio Jones, who actually played in the SEC, unlike Moss or Johnson.

Tap the brakes there...Moss was obviously very fast but there have been genuine world class sprinters play the position. Bob Hayes and UT's own Willie Gault come to mind. In fact:

Very true...
But Bo Jackson had world class speed. And Primetime caught him with ease.

Deion Sanders and Randy Moss both could have been Olympic sprinters...

Just my opinion.

Deion Sanders... Man he is my favorite player possibly of all time. Well actually it is Eric Berry and Sean Taylor... I'm a DB guy so.... Deion Sanders just put on a clinic everytime he stepped on the field.

Actually no Bo did not have WC speed. In fact Herschel Walker was faster than Jackson at 55m/60y or 100m. Jackson was only a 10.4 guy. Very fast for a football player for sure, especially one of his stature, but nothing WC. In fact Walker's best 100m was better than Deion's. I'm not at all certain Moss was faster than Jackson and Bo was slower than Sanders or Walker.

In any case none of these guys was truly WC. Even by the 90's these guys best wasn't good enough. The slow guy (alternate) on the 92 Olympic team was James Jett, a football player from WV and soon to be Raider, that had a 10.10 to his credit.
