CP's 5th yr option declined

Dobbs was at 59.6% last season his worst completion percentage (59.5 his freshman year and 63.3 his soph for a career average of 60.5% .. which seems bad till you notice his main target for the year ran a 4.8.. just saying context is a mother.

College and NFL completion percentages actually translate fairly well for QB's in a pro style system. (Which for all intents and purposes we run)

I'm all for a much faster receiving core but justifying Dobbs's poor passing by singling out how slow his "main target" was is laughable. How many times did Dobbs inaccurately throw a swing/screen pass to Hurd and Kamara (Luckily for Dobbs, both of those RBs are very good at pass catching)? How many times did we see Dobbs overthrow and underthrow a receiver on a go route?

Also, I had no idea that UT ran a pro-style offense...

Right decision by Vikings as much as I dislike them.

One your favorites? A one and done is one of your favorites? SMDH

You're the second person who has said this. What the hell difference does it make? I can like whoever I please. I've been a Vol fan for 33 years and I have a lot of players that are favorites, and I could care less if you or anyone else has a problem with who I choose to like.

Well, there were 6 KO for TDs in 2015 and CP had 2 of them. There were 12 PR for TDs in 2015. So.... BigFoot must have had a litter or something and his balls are dragging as low as mine do.

Picking up his 5th would mean paying him like a top 20 WR which he isn't. If you could pay him like the 20th ranked KR then it might be worth it.

So you are saying CP is better than Willie Gault? Alvin Harper? Carl Pickens? How long have you been an aware VOLS fan is the real question.

You should probably go back and read my posts. NOWHERE did I ever claim he was BETTER than Gault, Harper of Pickens. What I said was, he was one of MY favorites, and that he was electric on the football field. No one is denying that the players you mentioned are some of the greatest to ever play for UT. Start a fight with someone who actually deserves it, geez

Someone will pick him up and pay his market value which much be less than his 5th year option. Dude's got talent and will be on one of the 32 teams IMO.

NO, what you said was that he was the most electric player to step foot on Neyland.

WRONG, here is my exact comment:

"And? Are you the "VFL" police? He wore the orange and white and was one of the most electric football players to ever step into Neyland stadium. Can I not have my own opinions of who are some of my favorite Vols of all time?"

How can you deny that anyways?

Patterson received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Tennessee, where he played for the Tennessee Volunteers football team in 2012. He made an immediate impact with his athletic ability and offensive versatility. Primarily used as a wide receiver, he also excelled as a return specialist and all-purpose running back. He scored at least one touchdown by reception, rush, kick return and punt return, with 10 total touchdowns in 12 games.[9] In 12 starts, games, Patterson racked up an school-record 1,858 all-purpose yards (set by Reggie Cobb in 1987) to rank first in the SEC, tied for 18th in NCAA.[10]

NFL teams draft based mostly on potential. If him being drafted in the first round is the only validation that you have, J. Russell,V. Young and R. Leaf say hi.

Only validation? Did you not read his stats? The guy set all kinds of records in this ONLY year at UT, and if he didn't set the record, he was in the top 10.

- Coaches All-SEC First Team All-Purpose Player
- Coaches All-SEC Second Team Return Specialist
- CBSSports.com All-SEC Team
- Associated Press All-SEC First Team All-Purpose Player

ONE SEASON man come on. Your traditional, old-school mindset is clouding your judgement. I get it, you can't disrespect the likes of Gault, Harper, Pickens, etc. But guess what, there are great players who are just as good who have played after the turn of the century. There is a guy named Evan Berry who set records last year. Guess you don't think he's any good either...

CP was much fun to watch during his one season at UT. I would not object to the Titans signing him. Perhaps, more as a kick/punt returner. He has some interesting moves. Green-Beckham also struggles with reading defenses & route running accordingly.

Glad to see Derrick Henry on team. If we can get Chance Womack to open some holes, perhaps we can win some games.

I hope Warmack puts it all together with Conklin next to him, rather than the swinging gate that is Byron Bell.

Despite his struggles, Warmack was still the Titans' best lineman in 2015. Adding Jones and Conklin should really help the entire unit. I like the Tretola pick too, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's starting sooner rather than later.

The rookie right tackle from Utah wasn't the answer...that much became clear.
