Has anyone else heard this rumor? The source I heard this news from is just a friend with no real credibility. I think he would fit in just fine with Lou and Mark. Then we would have 3 idiots to listen to.

What the hell? Why take shots on Fulmer about this and call him an idiot? I hope he does get a job w/ ESPN and does a good job. Don't mistake this as a Pro-Fulmer post, I just don't think that you need call him out like that.

Exactly. We moved on with a new regime but Coach Fulmer will always be a Volunteer. He's earned our respect.

Yeah it's me Phil...the idiot. How'd you guess? I'm the guy that won 75% of my games at UT (the team YOU cheer for) a national title, 2 sec titles and will make 6 million over the next couple years. What a dumbass I am.

inability to coach any longer doesn't make him an idiot.

He's not the next coming of Oppenheimer and he certainly outlived his useful life as a top tier coach, but the man's not an idiot.

And BTW, I guess they saw what a remarkable and outstanding job Phil did on his show. He did a good job (overall) as a coach, but an analyst?? Geez, they're desperate.

Name calling is uncalled for and childish. He might not be a great coach, anymore, but he still deserves respect.
