Ok this is nuts, but is there a way we could have a rematch against bama in the SECCG if by some chance we make it? I hate bama and would love nothing more to beat them in a rematch this season ( I know this is a long shot but is it possible)

Bama would probably have to win out in conference to make it. LSU is next week, then the other SEC teams they have left are Miss St and Auburn. Just thinking of possible scenarios, they could beat LSU but lose to Auburn and still make it, but Auburn would have to lose to GA so Bama would win the head to head tiebreaker over LSU. If it is a 3-way tie, LSU would get the tiebreaker based on highest BCS ranking, if I remember correctly. But I don't care how good we made Bama look, I don't think there is any way they beat LSU and Auburn. And heck, ask Auburn and Kentucky if Mississippi State is a "gimme game".

I think we can't totally hang the second half on the defense. They made a couple stops, and our offense goes 3 and out? I'd be tired as crap if I was on the field for 30 minutes non-stop. The offense was pitiful until it really counted, and even then it took luck. If we come out after those stops and get a couple more touchdowns we aren't even talking about the defense.

"When we play smart we are a darn good football team and we played smart tonight."

Is there now any question as to why we suck so bad? With an outlook like that, we are doomed. Completely ridiculous. This gets back to the difference between Fulmer and a good coach, say Spurrier. Spurrier would have never in a million years taken credit for that, he would be ashamed at his personal performance. Fulmer on the other hand smiles about it. I would have held my head in disgrace as a coach if I were him! (This has nothing to do with the players, but just the coaches)
