She had a severe mental health crisis that resulted in her going down a troubling path for a bit that got her into legal hot water. But that terrible chapter of her life really saved it, because after that she got serious about getting the help she needed, and now her health and life are testaments to her true character.

Butchna, sorry. I don’t know why I read your question like you were asking what it was that delayed her enshrinement instead of just (clearly, duh!) asking if the personal stuff is what did it.
