Country music thread

I'd love to see him just to say I saw David Allan coe. There's not many like him left. I'm so sad I didn't get to see Merle. I've seen Charlie Daniels, and hank jr.

George strait, coe,and Willie nelson are on my bucket list.

I saw Merle at the Civic Coleseum. He tried to sing a song or two, then just picked his guitar for another song or two, then walked up to the mic, said "I'm sorry", and left. The Judd's were on stage just before him and were amazing.

I like it. ZBB's original sound might leave some questioning how country they are, but I like it. The last album was awful though. FGL awful

They had some weird sounding music, that's for sure. They got boring after releasing nothing but beach songs as singles, but the albums are usually solid. Except the last one. That was garbage. Have you heard their song from the southern family album?

"Martin" is just absolutely phenomenal. I also love "Goodbye In Her Eyes," "Jolene", "Sweet Annie," "Free," "Mary," "Lance's Song," "Day That I Die", "Last But Not Least," "Colder Weather", and at least a few more. The last half of the Uncaged Album is something I can listen to on repeat for days.

"Whatever It Is" is my favorite ZBB song.

"Grandma's garden" is probably my favorite song. Even though, I am a big fan of "chicken fried" I love fried chicken 😂

I can't help it, I love Keith Urban's music. Not all of them, but his "golden road" record is killer. There's just something about his music.

Anyone have any recommendations for old-timey country? I like the older stuff like The Carter Family, Bob Wills, Hank Snow, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, Jim Reeves, early Johnny Cash, etc

Heard of Wayne Hancock?

I'll keep checking, I have so many songs on my iPod it's not funny

You might like the Wayne's mills band, he was killed in a bar not long ago, he has a song called "f Rocky top" but, if you can overlook that (hard for me to do) they're. A pretty good band.

"She's a life size, wife size, full grown blow up plastic girl. Nothings missing, yeah, she never has a headache, she ain't got bad breath when we're kissing. Yea she's there when you need her, she's more than just a friend, and her skin is a smooth as a pearl..."

Never get tired of this song and I laugh out loud each time I listen. Da** Earl!

Curse you Dallas. I can't stop listening to Zac Brown Band. I'll go a day, maybe two, but then I'm listening to them again.
