Country music thread

I'm not a big country music fan, but my wife is..

I took her to see Travis Tritt tonight at the Bristol Hardrock. He was great. He still sounds the same and I never knew he was that good of a guitar player.

Excellent show !

Ok, I’m not a new country fan at all, but I’ve been doing a lot of listening to “older” stuff lately on what I grew up on (Born ‘84). I have come to a realization that the “sweet spot” for the genre is a 10 year window being ‘85 - ‘95. What a 10 year stretch for country music, the best.

Saw Zach Top last night and he put on a great show. If you get the chance to see him don’t pass it up.

No, Morgan Wallen did not boycott the Grammys because of "desegregation."
The claim that he did is a satirical fabrication originating from The Onion, which published a parody article on August 20, 2025, featuring fake quotes from the artist.

Billy Strings is worth going to see. Amazing show.
Billy, if he doesn't stray too far into the harder stuff and the electric sound, is the next Willie.

I could see him writing some classics and picking a hole in one of those guitars and still bringing it out there.

He likes his herb like Willie, stays clear of the liquor, and seems to have the gift in his voice and his fingers.
