For some reason I have one of those “time stood still moments” when Tony Robinson was injured during the 1985 Alabama game. I was 21 years old, working a part time job at West Town Mall listening to the game on the radio. At the time I didn’t realize how bad the injury to Robinson was. I kept thinking, that’s it, no way we can beat Bama now. Thank goodness I was wrong and Tennessee held on and we extended the streak to 4 years over Bama.187 days.......
From ‘82-‘85, Tony Robinson set new standards for passing at UT. He threw for 3,332 yards and 23 touchdowns during his career. Although, not known for his running ability, Robinson did rush for 187 career yards and 4TDs, before an injury @ Alabama ended his Tennessee career.

I have rewatched this game so many times.182 days.......
In the 1996 Citrus Bowl, UT faced Eddie George and Ohio State. The defense kept George in check and Jay Graham ran wild, but the steady play of Peyton Manning led the Vols to a 20-14 victory. For the day, Manning was 20-35 for 182 yrds and a TD to Joey Kent.

These old helmet look so dated.180 days......
Chuck Webb had some memorable games at UT, but the 1993 Ole Miss game was his finest. Webb broke Johnnie Jones’s single game rushing record with 294 yrds. In the second half alone, Webb ran for 180 yrds, helping the Vols to a 33-21 victory.
