Count Down Until Dooley Moves On to Georgia.

Not going to happen, because he already comes across with more loyalty to us than Kiffin ever did.

I tell you what I hope to God UGA comes after him. That would mean this was a good hire!

If anyone is going to take that job it will be Muschamp-plus I really don't think Dooley would go there. How impossible of a situation would that be to take over a program where is father is a God? If he failed it would be horribly awkward in that state. After last night I really think he wants to be here. Let's stop worrying about what might happen and just get behind this guy who seems to ooze class and integrity.

I feel like that is something we lost last year without even realizing it. We all got behind Kiffin and enjoyed his banter, but I think deep down we all started to realize that he was getting a little out of control-even if we did not want to admit it.

Dooley sold me last night in about 2 minutes, and there is no reason to think he won't do the same with recruits and stay here for as long as he wants.

 As soon as we beat GA his name will go on the wanted list, thats why we should have gotten UT ties.

This very well could possibly happen! No one said Kiffin would leave to USC after a year either. After all the events that have happened the last couple of days, I believe anything can happen. So this hire could have very well set us up for the same situation in a couple years, if Richt continues to underachieve.

This is ridiculous.... Are you THAT gun shy because of Kiffin? How about this? Go get your UGA (or Bama, or Auburn or whoever shirts) and forget about being a Tennessee fan.. Sounds like you don't have the stomach for it.

Did you pay attention at all in his press conference? This guy isn't about doing what everybody else does. He walks his own path. Not the kind of guy that wants to step into daddy's shoes.

10 years is about the shelf life of a coach in this day and age. I don't want someone staying longer than that. In fact, if I were an AD, I would structure the contract as such to basically be ready to leave after 10 years. That's just my opinion though.

The first time he takes the "Vol Walk" and runs thru the "T"....we won't have to even think about this.

The only thing that ties him to UGA is his name. He has not done one thing to indicate that he would even want to go back there.

A few of us spoke out but to no avail (but don't count me in the same group as 5150 or posi). kiffen's (spelling intended) antics were an absolute embarrassment. I don't live in Tennessee so I didn't realize how apathetic the fan base had become under fulmer’s reign. fulmer driving the program into the ditch led to scumbag. And scumbag’s antics’s being celebrated by so many is truly sad. So, I think this hire is a heck of a lot better but I don't like the idea of grooming a coach for an SEC rival.

Welcome to the board VT. Nice to hear we are gaining an additional fan base from the hire!

So, you do have some good points in you but you are absolutely wrong about Dooley leaving for GA. Do a little more resaerch. You have posted this on several threads. Leave it alone already. Instead of embracing and supporting, you are already betting one the day he leaves. Wow, Kiffin really must have hurt you!:cray:

would not be surprised if in his contract MH has made it very difficult for him to leave us in the cold after what we just went though.
