Me and my son were watching the game and were discussing how dead the feeling in this game was. It was like the energy just wasn't there.

I don't know whether we were just worn out from the last three weeks or we just didn't come into the game with the right mindset. It even seemed like the crowd was just bleh.

There's no excuse for what happened today with the offense but we all have to admit that the last three weeks have taken a toll on this team.

Now let's put this game behind us and get back to playing winning football. This game really hurts but let's finish this season strong and go to Atlanta.

Go VOLS!!!!!

The crowd was lit in the first half. We shattered our decibel record, but there was little to cheer for in the 2nd half.

With the injuries and damn near 5 hour heartbreaking loss....against a healthy BAMA team...it is what it is.

Alabama deserves a lot of credit for that. They lull teams into thinking they can hang for a half then just pounds them into submission in the second.

Definitely has been a gut wrenching gauntlet for those young men so I am sure they ran out of gas in the second half.

Maybe I'm wrong about the crowd but there was something missing today besides the hurt players.

I felt it quickly. Refs hurt us in the first half. Then second half our weak spots from injuries were just exposed.

After playing 4 maybe 5 ranked teams and two more bowl teams, we are 5-2. Not bad. We could have won the AM game, but we didn't. We still can get to 10-2 this year if we don't lose sight of the whole picture. Earlier, before the season started, I remember people saying that if we split those big 4 games they would be satisfied. We have an off week to get healthy and regroup and start the next stretch of games. Just chill.

Thats because everyone knew that a team with 11 starters out and several other players hurt...we were not coming close to beating Alabama. Some people just couldnt admit it.

I'll have to disagree with a previous poster. I was in Neyland today and it was a dead crowd save for a few series. Strangest game I've ever been too, almost like the crowd lost interest or something. Of course Bama was running all over us, so that will shut a crowd up quick when you get dominated like that.

Last 3 weeks you could see that we were behind cause of our own mistakes. Tonight we just got out schemed and out played

Yeah. No way we were louder. My section was not even close at his has been

The Florida game was a madhouse in my section. Today, it was like watching a baseball game. Lots of sitting and people not even clapping when Bama was on offense.
