Is it possible that the dominoes could fall our way? If so, how would a likely scenario play our? Georgia beats Florida, etc. It's been so long since I've been able to think like this that I've completely forgot.

What does Fulmer our way in mean? Are you referring to 2007 when we won our way in?

Looking at the UF schedule...if they find a way by LSU, they may not lose in the reg season.

It's highly unlikely but they're starting to click.

Not really. Florida would have to lose to 3 of the following teams. LSU, Georgia, Vandy, or SCarolina. Then Tennessee would have to win out. The only other way would be for them to lose to Georgia and one other SEC team then lose to FSU. Georgia and TN win out and have a 3 way tie for the east in which highest AP ranking gets the east.

Summary.

Florida loses 3 SEC games, Tennessee wins out.

Florida Georgia and Tennessee all tie in conf record. Highest poll rankings wins east.

While, I'm thrilled about our win. I don't see us beating Bama. I'd love it if it happens. However, we could run that table after the Bama game. But, I still don't see how we get to the SEC championship with 3 losses. Florida still has LSU, Georgia, Vandy, and South Carolina. I could see them losing to LSU and Georgia. And say they happen to lose to South Carolina, they still have the tie-breaker vs us.

Lost to Florida and beat Georgia that year. I'm a terrible historian though but I know there are other years during Fulmer's reign where we had at least an outside chance. I made the expression around that.

Short version -- we win out and FL loses to UGA, LSU and either SCe or Vandy.

If we lose to Bama, FLA has to lose all 4 of those.

Bottom line, EXTREMELY unlikely

Exactly. With UF having to lose 3 and us win out or UF losing they're last 4, assuming we lose to Bama, it's damn near impossible.

If we happened to win out and UF losing 3 we just have 2 SEC loses there would be no tie to break. I see UGA and LSU beating UF but that's all. Feel like UF is playing above their head on O but their D is the best in conference.

If UGA and LSU beat Florida and UT/Georgia win out, there is a 3 way tie in which ranking determines the east champ.

I liked it better when you had them 0-12.

That may have been Lawrence Wright. Of course, he was joking

I had Florida at 7-5.

Before the season, I had wins over New Mexico State, East Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic.

I was pressed to answer which games they'd get the other two wins and said I don't know, they'll just get two more.

I don't believe we beat Bama. So, we're likely to have 3 SEC loses. After the Bama, I think we can win out. However, that is still 3 SEC losses.

I think UGA will definitely lose to FSU, UGA, LSU. LSU is legit this year btw.

SCAR is a question mark. The LSU + UGA stretch will probably put a strain on depth, and I think FL is too tight in depth to go an entire season with the playmakers they're using. It seems like the whole season could easily collapse in minutes like UGA's did.

That ship sailed when Tennessee came out flat against Arkansas.

Florida is 6-0 With LSU, Georgia, Vandy, SC left. To me, worst case scenario is they split the four and go 2-2 which would tie Tennessee if they somehow pull off a miracle and win all the way out. Florida wins that tie breaker. So if Tennessee loses to Bama but wins the rest that means Florida would have to drop all four of those games, and there is just no way that is happening.

Hey I'm just going to take yesterday, not worry about two weeks from now, and if they manage to have turned a corner and win the rest of them, that is a good season to me. They can chase divisional championships next year, when they get another crack. Tough part about Tennessee's schedule is the deciding factor of their season is always the 3rd week of the season.

I don't see Florida losing to South Carolina, Vanderbilt or Florida Atlantic....which, at worst, makes them 9-3 and is beyond anything I thought was possible.

I think the toughest game on the schedule remaining is LSU.

I don't think beating Georgia or Florida State (a home game) is out of the realm of possibility.
