Could the Vols beat Bama...

We could beat them as they are. In fact I think we will. No, I know we will! It'll be a blowout, the likes of which no one has ever seen! We will be so dominant, everybody will...

... ugh, never mind.

Sorry about that. Insanity hacked my account.

if Bama had to play with 10 guys on offense and defense?

Serious question.

Serious question? I think ETSU could beat Alabama if they had a one man advantage on every play. It's not that hard to spread 5 WRs and pass to the one that doesn't have a guy on him until you're in the end zone each time.

The reason we see these shifts in power is because the game is so competitive and the smallest difference counts. Auburn went from 3 wins to a national title in 1 year recently. We went from 9-4, 9-4, to 4-8 without a whole lot of personnel changes. The difference in an entire person missing on the field is something no one could overcome, even Alabama.

This confirms what I have always believed. If the thread title contains a question, the thread will be epic levels of stupid. And here we are.

You can't be serious!

In the past I have said "If you don't think you can help us win the game, don't come out of the locker room." I love my Vols, but the reality of 2018 we may not have many enough players to participate. I do remain hopeful for the future.

Not this year, but "the process" will get us closer. JP is a patient guy and his time is coming!

Better question, name the players for TN that could Start for AL, and you can't choose Trey?

Assuming they were at Alabama, they would probably receive proper development and conditioning. So, Bituli, Warrior, and Tuttle at this point would likely start, and Banks would be in the running for RB1 in a year or two. Maybe Doyle.

Serious question.

Bama 4 and 5 star players are the real deal and have been meticulously coached up while ours were left to fester like a boil. No way we win this.

In all seriousness OP, the answer is no. Alabama is on such another level its just not funny. Their second team could beat 95% of the teams in the country. If Alabama keeps playing like this, their team will begin to be in the conversation with the 95 Nebraska and 2001 Miami teams.

Pruitt should, out of principle alone ask Saban to have the Bammer players run only backwards to make the game somewhat competitive

Only if they get food poisoned before the game and not even their 3rd stringers could play.
