I think in some ways, yes, but overall that isn't Les's style. He might be disappointed but I would be very surprised if he was bitter. Unfortunately, nice guys in college football appear to be going the way of the dinosaur.

You the dumbest moron on here. Both Zook and Jones were hired to take over and win championships either way. Zook continued recruiting great because of what Spurrier had built there but was an 8 regular season winner like Butch.

Butch has had enough talent to win the East division for 2 seasons in a row but botched it up with an inferior Florida squad last season...then epic choking against South Carolina...with a mulligan to the Sugar Bowl only to choke against Vandy this year.

Not to mention Butch has had the easier path to do so than Zook with a way way way more inferior SEC Eastern division than it was when Spurrier, Fulmer, and red hot Mark Richt were coaching back then for 2 years now...many on here agree with that...so....Butch in 2 down East seasons has managed to throw it all away...including twice this year.
