Could Kongbo be switching positions?

Well he promised would make a good OLB in a 3-4..... I always thought he was a little lean and that blew my mind when he was playing some at DT!

this makes the opposite of sense if he was moving back inside I could buy that. Him moving to OLB would mean we are going to a 3-4 a defense in which he would thrive as a DE.. he is a DT/DE tweener (malik jackson) not a DE/LB tweener (curt magittt)

In his defense , none of these players are living up to the hype. They never had a coach to coach them up or teach them

Kongbo lacks coaching. He immediately locks up with a defender off every snap, with no idea how to shed a defender and no idea where the ball is going until too late. Every snap is a personal one-on-one shoving match that gets neutralized. Guys like Barnett see right past the defender and treat them like a temporary obstacle to be avoided on their way to the QB or runner.

I’ll be shocked if he’s anything more than backup depth this year. He’s just not very good.

He looks awkward and uncoordinated when he is running in open space. I will be shocked if he plays linebacker.

I hope for the best for every player on our team but Kongbo always struck me as a slow DE/DT. Now he's moving to OLB? I hope those workouts take a full second off his 40 time.

I didn't notice him as being slow, I did notice him not using technique very well and he definitely did not show any discipline in staying in his pass rush lanes.
