Could Kamara stay another year?

Pro's have seen plenty of him now.

Hes got JUCO tape and more than a few highlights at Tennessee.

He's on tape and he was a captain in his 2nd year. High character guy.

4.5 guy at 215 that catches like a wr and can play wr or pr.

He will do a probably 20 or so reps of 225.

He goes before Chubb or Freeman.

Probably late 1st round.

Hurd will test well... now he needs to work on his interview skills. Has a lot of explaining to do.

It would be a grave mistake to switch positions.

Late first round is a stretch.

What has he done to justify leaving early?

As Bearcat already said, does he really have to justify anything?

But consider this:
1,000 yards rushing 5.9 average.
600 yards recieving
16 tds
Off 227 offensive touches

11 yard PR average
2 TDs

In 20 career games...

There is absolutely nothing else to show.

Late first round is a stretch.

When you put on the tape, he stands out. Usually as the best player on the field.

He has a rare set of skills.

He's not a powerback but he consistently breaks tackles or makes 1st guy miss.

He's a legitimate threat at WR. He's the best slot on our team.
He's the best PR in the conference.

And when he puts up good combine numbers and you look at his film.
Then you speak to him and find out how great of a kid he is.
Captain after one year on campus...
Yeah he's 1st round mid 2nd at latest.

You put him in Stanford's offense and he would produce the same as McAfferey.

I love his character, but he doesn't have break away speed. Got caught from behind agains Bowling Green. RB's are not the commodity they once were in the NFL. Two first rounders last year, tons of RB's coming out this year. I say 5th round at earliest. He should stay.

And Hurd can wait until the NFL comes back around to the I-formation and be a feature back there......or hey, a fullback maybe.

Yeah because every successful RB in NFL NEVER gets caught by a defensive back...

Lol.

All Hurd wanted was a blocker that could get out in front so he can cut and go.

Every NFL team still does this.

Kamara and Hurd will be drafted well before the 5th round.

Who is better than Kamara other the Leonard Fournette?

So much character? He quit at Alabama remember?

Zero chance AK comes back even tho he should. Breaking in a new qb hed have a chance at SEC POY and a 1st Rd pick. Instead he will end up like Pig struggling to find his place in the league.

Jalen will be on a NFL roster as a RB this time next year. Don't let the transfer/position change nonsense fool ya.but he won't last long.AK will probably play longer but Jalens path to a contract is more clear...if that makes sense

He transferred after completing a redshirt year at Alabama. I can see where you got confused tho, we're speaking English. :)

Are you sure that's "all he wanted?"
After what we've heard since Sunday it doesn't sound like it.

Will he play in the last few games... or use the time to let his knee fully heal?

hearing conflicting info on that. he definitely is not playing this week. I think it is questionable if he really wants to risk further damage to the knee. Just something he needs to weigh..

4.62 40 times and ranked #20 at RB in 2018 class by one scouting service. Hurd ranked #12 in 2018. That's not including sticking some 2017 guys in there. If he's the 20th RB taken, what round do you think he goes in?

I love the kid. I just hope that any college guys thinking about leaving get really good advice on where they're falling in the draft. Going pro should really mean going pro.

2 first round RB's last year and a stockpile of RB's in this class. I don't see it.

I think Kamara is more likely to return next year. I guess it would depend on OC but expect CBJ to go all out trying to get Kamara back. His gf will still be here....there's a chance!
