Perspective
- Niedemeyer was always good at connecting with the youth. We LOVED how good he was at social media, and that helped him become National Recruiter of the year. He was a cool coach. Didn't say good...
- You don't have to be a very good coach at IMG, because of their inherent advantage.
They just want someone that keeps the kids engaged and excited. Nieds will definitely do that!
- Because kids will love him, they will naturally take his side. All he has to say when asked by a player "Coach what do you think about UT"- he can simply respond "I'm glad I'm here now (IMG)
- IMG kids have all kinds of options. And YES, Niedemeyer being there doesn't help us at all.
- The reverse is also true. UT has MORE to choose from. Hell, look at the top talent fron each state in the south alone. Alabama has three 5* CBs and only 1 of them attend a powerhouse program. The other 2 are just regular public schools.
Our 5 hour radius of recruiting is more talented than anywhere in the country.
And we're still recruiting California in addition to that.
Summation: Does it really matter??
