Who will have the most impact on the season? The coaches seem to like Brown better, but due to his size, soft hands, and speed for a white boy, I like Cottam better. I hope they both have big years.

Of Tebow, Mustain, and Stafford who do you like the best? We all know what Tebow can do on third and three, but what can he do on first and ten. My vote would have to go with him; haven't been that impressed with the other two.

I like Cottam because he is 6'8 and Chris Brown may be the slowest besieds a lineman on the team. Tebow is overrated, Stafford, is the best pure QB of the group and Mustain is going to be surrounded by boatloads of talent.

Well, Mustain is in the pecking order out at USC, so I'll let Les Miles worry about him...since he seems to 'be in love' with them.

Anyway...I believe both Brown and Cottam will be utilized heavily. Why not? They both catch well and Cottam isolated on a LB=win every time.

Both Cottam and Brown are going to start because Vols are going to a 2WR/2TE/1RB offense for its basic set. Both will have a big impact. Cottam will get more down the field looks and Brown will get the over the middle catches. I think Cottam will impose more of a challenge for defenses

brown has proven him self (to an extent) so you have to stick with what you know. But I think cottam is going to play a big part this year, especially early in the year to calm down the rest of the team by completing short 5-7 yard passes to get the bal rollin.

man i can't wait

Cottom is definately is a mismatch for LBs or Safetiies because of his size and speed. We'll be using a lot of sets with both he and brown in there

Am i the only one who wasnt impressed with stafford last year. I know uga finished the season strong and he was a true freshman but i think he is getting too much credit at this point.

No, I agree. But I have a feeling this year he will breakout and prove whey is was rated the #1 QB out of high school.

Cottam-Better Blocker (bigger)
Brown-Better Receiver (faster)

they both have a role on the team

CHRIS BROWN is not FASTER than Brad Cottam. CB is SSSSLLLLLOOOOWWWW, he never makes any yards aftre a reception.

Meh - I'll take Cottam as a receiver anyday.. just because he's bigger doesn't mean he's that good of a run/pass blocker.

Brown is so slow for a TE (compared to Cottam atleast). It's rare that Brown gets any YAC but with Cottam and his speed he's just a beast when he catches the ball.

Are you sure?

If thats the case I don't understand why Brown gets more receptions/opportunities. Better hands must be the only reason.

Chris Brown is the outside guy, Cottam goes over the middle. Every time Brown catches, he is tackled immediately or run down.

Trinton Sturdivant is the Frosh UGA is starting at LT. Chris Davis is the rFrosh at OG. Fernando Velasco moved from where he played last year to C, so basically new position to him. Chester Adams is RT, he is a SR. Everyone behind these guys are frosh besides Vince Vance who is a soph. Very young line.

AJ Green is a pole. 6'4 184. Can he take the beating of the SEC? He needs to gain some weight. He is freakishly fast though.
