They were both going for the ball. Not gonna fault him for that. I do feel he needs to be a corner -- not safety.

Did anyone else notice that Lincoln basically quit on the first FG once he heard the whistle? He didn't as much hook it as he did quit on it when he knew it didn't matter.

Yes, he was quoted in the KNS today, saying that he heard the play blown dead but went ahead and kicked.

As much as I WANT to like Hefney, I can't. Watch the fumble recovered by Berry. Hefney is near, does not go after the loose ball, then releases to "block", runs about four yards, turns around and watches Berry. Why would you ever turn your back on to oncoming defenders? Not to mention the duck and roll your shoulder onto the pile technique for tackling he has employed. Both show a lack of either heart or aggression. Neither points to playing out of position.

I saw last week he was named to some watch list (Thorpe?) for on and off the field performance. My thoughts are that he must be a miracle worker off of the field, because his on the field play will sure bring down his average.

That dude ran all over us.

Without any credible o linemen.

Really Cory Boyd has got some great moves and an even bigger heart and passion for the game of football. If he had the oline of tennessee he would run for 100 a game. He is the heart and soul of this team and I just hate to see us lose after an effort like that.:dunno::dunno:

Communication. IMO, it looked like Berry had a bead on the ball and Hef came in late and bumped him. Maybe i was just frustrated at hef, but that's what it looked like to me.

Yeah, but both of those catches inside the 10 had a great chance to be downed at the 1-3 yard line giving our offense an even bigger hole to dig out of.

I agree. There was a guy in our section screaming @ Hef for one of those and I thought it was a good play.

Probably see Parrish at Safety and Berry at CB now that M Johnson is hurt.

God I hope so.

I want to see Berry back at his natural position. I feel at safety is he more the "last defense" when the rest of our defense fails to do its job. I would rather have him not be in that position.

I want to see what EB can do step-for-step with some of the faster WRs in the SEC.

I'd love to see him match up with Earl Bennet.

Berry played safety in high school not CB. The only time he played CB was at the high school all-star game.
