Cortez, FL. Anyone familiar with it?

I'm pretty much retired and this looks like somewhere good to do it. I could spend the rest of my days paddling a longboard, fishing and watching sunsets. Oh, and there are manatees swimming around down there. Those are some pretty cool creatures..
I know Behr is down there, pretty close.

I spent 2 weeks down in Pensacola, thats all I know about florida well besides its a very good place( @theFallGuy) for pride week...would fit in really well.

not really ..went to pensacola because my sister lived there free room and board. was really amazing the surf fishing was cool
