Wasn't he starting to get a decent amount of playing time? Would love to see him at the Pats though, they'd get a lot out of him.

He's a good kick returner.

He runs pretty well with the ball in his hands.

He's never learned a playbook or how to play the WR position very well at all and that's what holds him back.

I don't know if he's lazy, dumb or has a learning disability but a seriously good athlete like him should be much better by now with NFL coaches trying to help him.

He better try to stay where he is because they have made certain plays just for him and it's taken him all these years just to get those plays down pretty well.

I wish him the best.

When he was here, it was said that he had/has a huge learning disability, and that his learning challenges weren't due to lack of effort.

I don't think he'd be a very good fit with the pats for the same reason Ocho Cinco didn't work out there. Pats rely less on raw athleticism and more on timing and option routes

When your route tree only has 1 branch, it might be hard to land a major role. Jk. Good luck to him. He is an outstanding ST player.

Some players just don't get. They spend their time in the league believing they are being held back by coaching decisions. CP is one of those players.

Much has to do with placing him with a coach that can reach him. But most NFL coaches just aren't wired for that. Much easier to pick up one of about 20 guys who want into the league to take the spot every year.

Have to give the guy kudos though, he has been successful despite a learning disability. We all have a learning disability to a degree. I will never reach the level of mathematical understand my wife has. It is what it is and you have to figure out how to be successful at something. CP has done a pretty good job of that.

Inability might be a better word lol

Not that this is a great comparison, but Randy Moss was great there. Though he's Randy Moss and the other is Ocho Cinco.

Yep. One trick pony. One role....just do it well and be thankful you don't have to do a 9-5 job paying 50K per year.

Randy Moss wasn't just a raw athlete. He ran great routes and was the best deep threat ever.
