As good as this kid is what do you think his impact will be this season? He has to be 3 times better than Z. Rogers, therefore does he take his job? I'm hoping this happens, not to erase Zach but to give us the absolute best WR corp in the nation with Hunter, Da'Rick, and CP. Does he start alongside these guys this year since he will already be a junior?

If he's half as good as advertised he'll take ZR's spot the day he steps on campus. If he's AS GOOD as advertised the offense is going to be really fun to watch.

Only thing about that is Dooley/Chaney seem to really like Z. Rogers. They may start him. Technically they could justify starting him over CP. More SEC experience, more experience playing under Bray, team chemistry, etc.

Nothing against ZR but I really think he needs to either have breakout year or get replaced by CP pretty quickly

I disagree. I believe they started him out of necessity, and I have no idea what make you think they're going to start him at this point in the off season, especially over Patterson. :crazy:

And if they tried to justify starting him over patterson, and actually do, then they deserve to be fired for sheer stupidity.

Agreed.. In fact, during interviews I've seen with the coaches (primarily Hinshaw and Dooley), their eyes light up when CP's name is mentioned (especially Hinshaw - dude has raved about him on multiple occasions).

I think they know they have a potentially special talent on their hands, and I have a feeling CP will be seeing the field early and often.. Granted, he could still be a bust since there's no guarantee. But I still don't see ZR getting PT ahead of him.. JMO

JUCO WRs, no matter how highly rated or what John Chavis says about them, do not have a good track record of coming in and having a significant impact....call me whatever but it is what it is. Hope CP can buck this trend.

If he's as good as advertised he'll take Zach Rogers spot before he steps foot on campus :)

FACT: If he isn't able to beat out Zack, he will join that unfortunate club, known as the biggest busts in UT football history.

He has had his chance to show something and he has showed nothing at all. I really hope he doesn't get another chance my poor dog can't take anymore beatings.
Let's say CP doesn't get in, I would hope we let a freshman( Pig, Croom, Bowles) have a shot. IMO

if everything goes well in summer school when will CP get on campus? I think that will determine how soon he beats out Zack.

Lets not count our chickens yet. He has to be cleared by the ncaa. Hope he is not another JC guy who can't get cleared!!!!
