The new coach has already been hired. Fulmer is interviewing candidates for DC/OC. This has been the biggest smokescreen in modern sports history! Book it!

No - NO - competent organization operates this way, so we'd better hope it's not the case.

It's uncommon, but not necessarily without precedent.

Ideally your head coach is the emotional leader of the team. But at the same time, it's easy for them to fall into the trap of hiring friends as coordinators or assistant coaches, even to the detriment of the team and the program.

I know the Dodgers' front office used to hire everyone; the manager could not pick his coaches at all.

Nobody should know that better than Fulmer.

I really hate people who say "book it". I wish they had to bet some skin when they throw out random crap. His hire will be Steele, Tucker or Pruitt. I'm personally hoping Pruitt then Tucker but a lot of people are saying they believe its Steele. Not sure if that is actual knowledge or more likely gut feeling based on the last decade.

Either way gonna give this coach the support he will most definitely need and pray that we have the next Kirby Smart
