I agree. Though he may have seemed ok from the TV view, I've heard nothing but bad from former players in how he was toward them.

I don't think anyone blames him for taking the job. if Hammy had offered me the job I would have taken it too and I sure as hell ain't qualified. It's one thing to be a bad coach and fail despite trying your best. The distancing of former players and burning recruiting bridges is where my real disdain comes from. It was obvious he quit mid-season in 2012 so he could walk away with his 5 mil. I can't respect that.

Then there is the rumor that he tried to quit after the 2011 UK loss but still wanted the full buy-out and Hart refused. Not sure if that's true but if so then he truly is a POS.

I heard this story a while back about Dooley helping this lady within the department with domestic abuse.. I'll never speak badly of him him again.. Seems like a very good man.
