And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know."

Legion Field, 1995, they pelted me with open mustard and ketchup packets for being a Vol in the Bummer section. Well, and because Peyton made them look silly.

I still have the jacket.

Damn I bet that was sweet to hear the agony and tears up close. Totally worth the abuse.

I would have ended it:

"I noticed his haircut seemed familiar. Then, he turned to me and asked 'You know, I'm working on this list of football wisdom. I think I need seven items, but I'm stuck on the 7th. I've got 'Carry the fight to our opponent.' but that seems abrupt. Any suggestions?"

"That's when I got a chill and realized what was happening. I offered 'and keep it there for 60 minutes' He smiled, told me that was perfect, and disappeared in a swirl of haze."

Now THAT is a CS, B!
Has a similar feel to Marty McFly playing Johnny B. Goode for Chuck Berry’s friends.

Quite the opposite, I am legitimately impressed. My own memory shortcomings are honestly, real, so I am rather envious at times of others. If I’m being sarcastic I will use blue font.

Same here. My best friend tells me I have the memory of a gnat. I have hardly any recollection of my life. Remember very little of my kids births or child hoods. I've had my head stitched up 4 times, all in my youth, so I figured all that trauma is probably why. My daughter can remember stuff from when she was 2 years old. It's amazing really. I can't remember if I wiped lol

I have a “cool story bro” anecdote regarding Heupel. My dad has been having pain in his hand for months, and finally decided to see a hand specialist in Knoxville recently. Well the hand doc he went to see is the same doctor the UT athletic department uses when they have any hand injuries. Doc said that he also worked under the previous coaching staff and the difference is night and day. Said Pruitt cussed the kids like dogs at halftime, so much so he would not stay in the locker room at half. He said when he first met Heupel, coach told him if he needed to operate on any of the players to let him know beforehand so his wife could prepare them a home-cooked meal for before surgery. That way they know they love them. Doc pretty much said coach just seems to actually love/care about the players. Cool story bro for sure and whether that guy is just bs’ing my dad is the question. Hope it’s true.

At the 2014 Mizzou game I was two rows behind the guy who got pulled on to the field by Alex Ellis after he caught the trick TD pass. I’m convinced that fan is a member of this board.
