You want real old school rap, google Sugar Hill Gang, "Rapper's Delight". And not the short version, get the 15 minute version. THAT'S old school.

First rap album to ever have an EP if I remember correctly.

But if you want some true, old school gangsta rap, listen to Ice-T's older stuff. 6 In The Morning is one of his songs that stands out, at least to me.

i know this isn't old, actually this just came out, but i couldn't find the "What are you listening to?" thread. anyone else that likes rap, do ya'll like the new kid cudi feat. jim jones song Day N Nite? i think its tight, whole diff feel to it

It's alright. The melody does get stuck in your head. Not my favorite, but it's ok.
