I've always heard Garner is one the most personable coaches around.
Seems to connect with people pretty quickly.

The big old one on Broad/Atlanta Hwy closed a while back. I think they're going to try out a smaller-footprint concept in a former fast food (Burger King?) building down in Watkinsville, though.

Next time you're in the area, check out South Main Brewing (Watkinsville). It's pretty solid as well. That said, the only good things about Athens proper are the multitude of roads that one can use to leave (at least the ones GDOT isn't currently tinkering with).

First time was when Tyler Bray was QB. 2nd time was this past season. It'll probably be that long again .

Plus it takes too damn long to get there for how close I live.

You are not missing anything. I've been in this area for ~10 years. Getting mostly anywhere from here is less than great...the silver lining is that the drive up through Blairsville and Tellico Plains on my way to Knoxville isn't too bad.
