In the Tuesday practice report, in the KNS, Sanders says " Phil and I have NOT talked about whether or not Eric Ainge will play in Saturday's game against 'Bama." This comment after an open week and one of our biggest upcoming games of the year. What do these two talk about then? This comment was a joke wasn't it?

in high school. :shades:

I was unable to read that, But if thats so, very disturbing. In another article i read where neither CPF,RS, know where the comments of, RS may move back to the booth etc, came from as printed by several publications. :dunno: Is there a reason RS, is less informed?

Fulmer said he would look at putting RS back in the booth so that he could see more, but RS said that he hadn't heard anything about it. Is that what you are trying to say? :good:

If you look at the miscommunication on the field, between receivers, qb's, punters, etc; this doesnt surprise me.

Doesnt look like RS and PF are very good at communicating what they want from each other, or the team. :twocents:

No shock there. In the article it sounded like Sanders was trying to take a shot at the Tennesean.

He should worry more about the state of the offense than the talk that is being thrown around. I am afraid this is his response to pressure.

Please turn it around RS. We are looking for you to make fools of us all. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

it sounds like the double talk we all know and love from the tennessee coaching staff.

The players hear the "double talk" and it turns into lack of execution. They cannot make heads or tails of the jibberish!

How can they when the HC and OC don't talk to each other about who will play QB THROUGH an open date and into the mid-point of the next week???? That is great game planning there Phil and Randy! :birgits_giggle:

Come on guys, give it up. You know good and well that this is just "coach-speak" to the media. They have, for sure, not only talked about whether or not he'll play, but have decided a stater, under which circumstances Ainge will come in (if he doesn't start), and what will determine whether he stays in or goes.

What do you expect Fulmer and Sanders to say: "Rick's going to start, and we're going to throw a bunch of quick slants, outs, and screens while interposing a few runs right into the heart of the defense to wear 'em down, then we'll go with Erik during the 3rd possession -- hopefully we'll try something deep down the left side on 2nd down, maybe play action. . . ."????? If so, you probably suck at poker.

Sarge are you confused? Both have come out and said Ainge will play, the comment Sanders made was that they had not talked about whether or not he would be moving back up to the box.

Incorrect. RS said" Phil and I have not talked about whether both QB's will play and when." This is a quote in the KNS on the Tuesday practice report.
