The key word for the rest of the season is consistency.
Holistically, the defense looked like it didn't play too well...but our rush defense looked great on quite a few plays. I remember a lot of plays where we tackled Boyd for a loss. We got great penetration in the back field quite a few times. Other times, we looked like the terrible defense that we are.
Offensively, I could see sparks of greatness in this offense with Foster, Ainge, Rogers, and Taylor...they made some great plays...but other times they looked like any other average offensive team...
bottom line is if the coaching staff can somehow work on consistency in both play calling and execution, these Vols deserve to be East champs.
