The previous lack of conditioning and the fact that Fulmer held the talented freshmen back, I think that we were looking at back to back loosing seasons with the previous coaching staff.

Even if Fulmer had Tahj Boyd, he would have never seen the field next year.

Agree or disagree?

Tahj would have started from day 1.. Fulmer was scrambeling for a qb by the end of last season.

Tahj had surgery at the end of the season that will keep him from playing next season, no matter where he had signed. People seem to either not know or forget about that. Boyd would not have been able to help us this coming season, which is part of why we didn't take him.

Disagree. CPF has a long history of playing freshman QB. Maybe not other positions, but at QB he would play them.

I would rather have 60 players that can contribute every down, than to have 80 and more than a few never contribute or are just bodies taking up room.

Considering the desperation for a QB CPF would've started Boyd even if he was in a wheelchair.

Actually,IMO Coach Fulmer would have played Crompton from the getgo. There is this thing about loyalty that Fulmer was way too involved in. He would play a four year loyal good ole boy before playing a young talented not loyal to anyone.

Wow, I hate to wish my life away, but I wish football season would just hurry the hell up and get here, because the message board material is running kinda thin. We have to revert to hypathetical's about a coach that was canned back in November. I mean, I guess we can talk about the fabulous baseball team right?

Me too.

There aren't enough people on here that follow it to have a decent discussion.

Yeah, I'm one of those people too. I kinda wish that I had started liking baseball more when I was a kid so that I could be interested in something this time of year.

This. Possibly the only school he could have played at would have been Oregon due to the amazing facilities and rehab staff and all of that jazz. Thats the reason he had them so high up
