Considering going from PS3 to Xbox 360...

I've had a PS3 for about a year and a half and I'm seeing alot of friends/co-workers getting 360s...i literally only have guys here from VN as my friends on PSN, which I rarely play with anyways (sorry dudes). I never use the BluRay Player (only have purchased The Dark Knight). I considered keeping the ps3, but it will collect dust if I decide on a 360. So I'm in a huge debate right now since Thanksgiving sales are around the corner...what do you guys think? Should I follow my friends/co-workers to the 360 country, or should i enjoy ps3 by myself...:ermm:

What are you looking for in this thread? Want a bunch of folks to tell you it's ok?

If you aren't using the PS3 much, sell it. If you want to game with your friends on the 360, buy one. They are relatively cheap now days. If you know deep down inside you'd buy the 360 and still not play online with friends for whatever reason, no reason to switch systems.

Heck, if you can find a $100 deal like Walmart just had, I'd just pick it up and keep both around the house.

I'm basically looking for opinions and maybe options to take on the best way to get money for my ps3. I saw the deal Walmart had, but was way too late for it. Looks like most Black Friday sales are for the Elite, which would be nice, but i don't really need 120GB of space...anything bad about getting a Arcade and purchasing a used 20GB HD?

i picked up an acrade at walmart when they had the sale with a $100 wal mart card. its been in the box ever since.

naaah...i just don't have any games. i thought i kept a couple from when i had one before, but i can't find them. i got it mainly for exclusive titles and it was a great deal too. i may get on live at some point.

arcade is the best way to go imo. The only difference with the elite is the HD and the pretty black case.

Yeah, i couldn't see paying another $100+ for black case/controller and HD space that I would never use.

I'm in the middle of switching from PS3 to Xbox right now. I bought MW2 for both systems, and the playstation network's suckiness has really reared its ugly head. MW2 has been the breaking point. I'm going full on 360. Probably going to sell my PS3 after 3 years of use.
