I was trying to find out how many consecutive sellouts the Vols have had at Neyland, but could not find it anywhere.

Does anyone know? I did find many sources that said Nebraska holds the NCAA record, somewhere around 280 and still going.

I can tell you our "streak" stands at less than 8...if that many.

I still have visions of those ugly gapping holes in the upper deck in November of the Year of the Debacle (2005).

If Florida's stadium was bigger and the state was Tennessee's size from a population standpoint, that would not be the case.

If population matters, then explain how Nebraska is approaching 300 sellouts in a row.

I'm not worried about UF's fanbase being better than ours because they're not even close. Noone in the state of Florida cared about Gator football untill 20 years ago. They are a bunch of snotty bandwagon jerks with no class.

the same could be said for FSU or any number of programs that have come to power over the last 20 years....tradition matters less to fans that most would lead you to believe.
