Connecting TB PX22 to PS4

I have Turtle Beach px22 headphones and am trying to figure out connection with PS4.

I have the software update, USB into the front, and the little cable from green amp to bottom of controller, TV set to hdmi output. No sound through the headphones.

Try this.

1 - Plug the USB on the headset into the PS4. Don't worry about the audio cable hanging.
2 - Go under settings on the PS4 and go to "Sound and Screen"
3 - Go to "Audio Output Settings"
4 - Go to "Output to Headphones" and change it to "All Audio"

To adjust the volume press and hold the PS button on the controller and then "Adjust Devices" and then you can do the volume control from there.
