It'd be nice to see more former Vols get into the college and pro coaching ranks after finishing their playing days.

As a Pats fan he was basically an on the field coach throughout his career, one of BB's all time favorites...not surprising in the least.

Things that make you go HMMMMMMM.....Mayo announced as coach for the Pats, Schiano leaves the Pats. Coincidence?

140 tackles his final year was on of the best seasons we've seen in the modern era

Outside of Robert Peace and Kevin Burnett, Mayo was my favorite linebacker as a Vol. I was 6-8 during Al Wilson years, but don't remember them.

You can laugh about third and Chavis, but Chief knew how to coach LBs. We had some great ones in his time here.
