Another in the long line of Tennessee DBs who go undrafted based on their play and are actually good in the NFL. Strangely the guys who have gotten drafted post-Berry have had worse careers than multiple undrafted guys.

They all have Willie Martinez in common.

The development of young NFL coaches is entirely different than development of coaches in college programs. Much more intense and time consuming on details for NFL assistants than college assistants. It's a result of the right head coaches. In the NFL, it's a priority for head coaches to attend to development because the position requires more of a professional delegation strategy than in college. It's not that close. Some, actually the very best college coaches do it. That's why Heupel is much more likely in the future to jump to the NFL rather than to another college program.

I just don't get anything out of it, lots of people feel the same way.
I went to the Titans game last weekend. It was a pretty day and it felt good to be out of the house, but the game just didn’t excite me. I am convinced the NFL is no more real than WWE. I wish I could see it differently.

Best of the best playing on Sunday. More parity. Big 4 getting that way too because they are next to best of the best. I love them both but watch more NFL
Yeah, but with their playoff system, I only watch the playoffs. Baseball never produces a true champion. The hot team in both leagues win their so-called championship. It makes the regular season completely irrelevant. All you have to do is make the playoffs and the best teams often go cold with their bye week.

Baseball DID produce a real champion when there were two divisions in each league and only played against each other in the All Star game and World Series each year. The All Star games were ultra competitive back then. Guys busting their asses to win the game

I thought McCullough was too slow to even be in the SEC? 😀

Apparently Banks and Martinez saw ability that many VolNation posters didn't. 🙄
Football is weird. We lose a super duper senior who has played a million snaps and he proceeds to produce pretty well in the NFL as a rookie. We then start a walk-on at safety, and the level of play improves noticeably. I’ll always support Tank, but happy with who we’ve got out there now.
