Article said terms of the contracts were not disclosed...but almost certainly they contain a year's supply of this

CFL always trips me out. They punt on 3rd down, they have a 110 yard field, receivers get a running start before the snap, & touchbacks are 1 point. Unless they changed all that.

However, I have not heard of them instituting a targeting penalty yet. Which makes the other Canadian rules tolerable. So, I will catch Devrin if I can.

You get a point for a touchback? Interesting.

Some of those guys make some pretty good coin. Crompton is at 400k per year I think. They even have a few non qbs over 200k per season now.

Awsesome for Devrin! He sure has came a long ways since his Bearden Bulldog days. The guy played his butt off for our Vols. He's living the dream of getting paid to play football, no matter if its in the CFL or NFL. Best of luck to Devrin. This gives me a reason to watch more CFL games.

CONGRATS to him for getting paid to play a game he loves.

I hope he blows it up and gets a shot in the NFL soon.

Yes it is. The endzone is behind it.

There is some hilarious NFL film from back in the day with rickety goal posts installed on the goal line. Which makes me wonder... why are they still called Goal Posts? Shouldn't they be End Zone Posts or End Line Posts or Field Goal Posts now? Or maybe the better question is why is it still called a Goal Line?
