Very True. Im just wondering how they are going to turn it around and see what Peyton has to do next. Also I found it very funny that numerous times Boomer was talking about how peyton HAD to win this game and all that jazz, and if he doesnt he needs to live on the same street as A-Rod. Funny thing is I'm pretty sure Boomer never got him a ring...

He didn't. Some of the ESPN commentators also indicated that now to really cement his legacy he would need to win another Super Bowl. I think one ring and holding pretty much every passing record will pretty nicely secure his place in NFL history.

Absolutley. He has clinched his place in the Hall of Fame. Not so sure about Rex, He made some rookie mistakes. I understand it was pooring down rain but after Mannings first INT he tuned himself up & got the win.

Props to the Bears defense though, especially to Urlacher. He's a really good MLB.

I lost count how many '1st in super bowl history' stats there were.
anyway.....

Now it's Eli's turn.:)

Peyton could have loaded up his stats if he wanted to, but they ran the ball instead. He had a whopping 180 passing yards in the first half.

Peyton finally beat a Florida QB in the state of Florida. that's another monkey off his back. Now he can drive his brand new, passion red Cadillac XLR to Disney World.

there's still another monkey clinging to his back though. Spurrier.

No MG1968 Spurrier isn"t on Peytons" back anymore. Peyton has succeeded in the nfl, Spurrier wasn't even close. Spurrier can always visit Peyton at the nfl hall-of-fame!!!!~

:fireworks: I'm very happy to see Peyton win, its almost like you're watching a member of your family win it. Very happy for him. I wouldn't mind seein him get another couple of rings. Even if he doesn't he did at least get one. Congrats to Peyton, Coach Dungy and the whole Colt team. Very classy team. Unlike the Titans:sick:

I assume you are talking about Esiason, not ESPN's boomer. Yeah, I did hear him, at the tail end of a rant, talk about how he DID come close to beating the 49ers one year. How are you going to say a player must win a title to "complete his legacy" or whatever, then correct yourself just to not self contradict your very own career?
