Oh...OK....I watched the game on gameplan...the feed wasn't great, but his arm was hit as he was drawing back to throw...the type of fumble we've seen often from QBs.....the right answer is roll away from the pressure, but they think they can unload in time or don't see the pressure.....i think he saw the pressure, but the defender got his arm in there.

It looked to me like the ball hit the helmet of the defender as he was bringing it up to throw. He had almost zero time. I think it's very suspect to blame that turnover on him.

Nick did a great job last night, there is hope people, I loathe so much negativity... only wish we could've made the game to cheer our VOLS on.. it was a win, regardless of how people see how it was played or not... those young men showed some strength and can only get better.............. :rock::rock:

I didnt see the game but am I wrong by asking did anyone play good to scrape by NIU. Good grief. I want the old Vols back.

i agree. that turnover was on Ramon Foster. The DE ran right through him. blaming it on Stephens is ridiculous.

Watched on ESPN 360 and NICK looked awesome!!!!!Great GAME, spoon fed playcalling wasnt much but the down field touchdown pass was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOW WE HAVE A FOUNDATION TO PLAY D1 FOOTBALL............

Congrats to Nick,I only wish we would have started you earlier so you could have been use to some live action.Now all we need to do is learn how to score some freakin points.
