compared to that of Cal, whom has all the pressure of winning this game on their shoulders, not ours.:thumbsup:Over the last few seasons, these reports would worry me because of the resounding mental atmosphere of our program. I think we lacked the aggressive mentality to overcome obstacles more so than lacking talen or coaching. {The fact that we heard more excuses than solutions during that time is noted}. From the reports I've read here and elsewhere, the atmosphere and attitude seems different. I look for us to make headway back to the aura we lived in for so long.
What's the word on Colquitt? I thought his injury was fairly minor and that holding him out was precautionary. But I was listening to the Knoxville station via internet and sounds like Colquitt's dad said he was not sure if he'd play at Cal. That could be a huge loss.
I have a big concern. Cal loves to throw the football and is very very good at it. It seems our D-line won't be anything special this season so I doubt we will be able to get that much pressure on the qb. With our secondary being so inexperienced I think we could be in for a long day. I mean with no pass rush the db's are going to be chasing wr's all over the field. I'm just very nervous about that.
