The level of suck with this team is EPIC. The only players who deserve to be on the field are the freshmen that Pruitt brought and a few others. Is it possible to just cut 20-30 players to make room for a bunch of new freshmen? I realize that next year would probably suck too but at least we would have a chance with a Pruitt picked team. I have absolutely no confidence that he is going to be able to coach up the bunch of losers that are here. Worse, their terrible play may infect the newbies. Better if we could just get rid of at least 1/3 of the team.

I cant blame it all on those players for their epic suck levels - Butch simply failed them and gave them terrible habbits. They are a bunch of marshmallows out there and they just dont fight for it. This is a serious question, can CJP simply get rid of some of these highly rated Mac level players to make room for some people who have potential? These players suck, we know they suck and the worse thing of all, THEY know they suck. I dont think coaching can fix that. When you THINK you are a loser, you are ALWAYS right.

NO, there is NOT a lack of talent. Say what you want about ratings but they dont all miss. What there is, is a lack of HEART and a lack of SKILL. They have talent, that was not developed and they have no heart to fight when it comes down on the line. If there were no talent there and we were a bunch of Rudy type players, who fought like mad but just didnt have the speed or the size, I could live with that.

That is not the case tho. We have the same or possibly better talent than the Gators and our own friggen team is GIVING THEM THE GAME because they are sick in their HEARTS. For a guy who was supposedly about finding 5* hearts, Butch seems to have taken 4* players and trained them into 1* hearts.

Agree completely. WE NEED A COMPLETE COACHING CHANGE

JP needs to forfeit the Auburn, Georgia and Bama games. That way, none of our few good players get hurt. Practice them for 3 weeks on fundamentals. Discuss the O-plan with Helton or fire him.
Get ready for for the last half of the season.

The difference between us and the likes of UF, Aub, UGA, LSU is clearly.....talent.
Lets stop kidding ourselves. Mullen simply has better talent. Smart had better talent when he took over.
It bridges the gap between the first year coaching pains when you have guys who can play.
We are simply outmatched on both sides of the line.
Florida's secondary is fast and can more than keep up with our receivers and our fastest back, Chandler. What can you do in your first year when the talent just simply isn't there?

Really??? Under Saban. Do you really think he was leading the defense under Saban?? You are incredible gullible or incompetent if you really believe Pruitt has proven anything at this point.
Butch beat Pruitt's defense twice at Georgia without Daddy Saban. Get real "Harry Potter"

Yes, the same years that Georgia went 10-3 and finished one year #9? And what would your explaination of Pruitt at Florida State, where they won the national championship? :rolleyes:

Look, I dont know if CJP is going to be able to pull it all together to get this dumpster fire of a program back on top but lets not act like he hasnt proven to be an ELITE defensive coach. If he doesnt pull it off in 3 years, Jeremy Pruitt will quickly find another job that will not be fetching Saban's coffee.
