No way Tenn is firing Pruitt regardless of his record. He will have at least 3 or 4 more years. Financially it can‘t be done.
The Oline is much better than it seems. They ran it down Kentucky’s throat when they wanted, but a team has to be balanced to be successful. Defenses adjust to one demensional teams.
If JG continues to play the rest of the team is going to give up. They seemed to today.
Chaney is still a good OC but is severely hampered by a QB that is limited physically and mentally.
Pruitt may turn into a good HC. Stoops seems to have grown into a pretty good cuoach and he doesn’t have near the advantages a coach at Tenn has. At least CJP is a decent recruiter. The days are long gone when Fulmer got the pick of talent from neighboring states, and the SEC is no longer just a couple of good coaches that can monopolize the top players. Even Spurrier couldn’t win big in his later seasons.

When Pruitt is finally fired from UT, he will never be a HC again. See Mike DuBose, Ron Zook and Ray Goff. Our rivals get it, but we don’t. Nuff said.

Pruitt needs to get the right assistants around him. I think he needs a overhaul on the whole offensive side of the ball.
