Commitment for 2009 Class

You think he will end up here Perry? Seems like a long time to hold a commitment and if he really is that good couldn't he end up getting drafted?

No, he is not good enough to get a high enough draft. He is (at the most) a "draft-and-watch" candidate but nothing more. He then has the opportunity to go to the college of his choice at the point where he doesn't sign (which he won't). So yes he is pretty good, No, not good enough for the pros, but yes, right at the point in talent where he could battle for a starting spot on the team. Might be tough to do but you could very well see him start a game if he chooses Tennessee.

The article said he's one of the best prospects 16 and under, is a preseason All-American, and he picked UT over LSU and Clemson, two very established programs. I think him getting drafted within the first five or so rounds next year is very possible.

Almost impossible from Draft reports I've read. He doesn't have the frame and plus game that he would need to be a top 6 round pick. Could compete for a spot in the starting lineup one day for the Vols. Probably his Junior year.
