I read the Death of Superman saga to my kids (5 and 8). I put a temporary cover on the book so they wouldn't see the spoiler cover. I kept it out of reach. The payoff was good. It hit them so hard, but they didn't cry (I did when I was 12). For like 3 days after, my 5 year old kept saying "For this is the day, that a Superman died."

When we finished, they were so excited to finally get their hands on it and thumb through it. I consider this a top-tier Dad media curation triumph.

I love this!

I read it to my boys week to week back in 2022. They did know it was “the Death of” story but not the how. We basically did the whole year through Reign of Supermen.

These are great. I had a few come in this week. I’ll post them soon.

Down to needing 168, 174, and 181 to finish up my Miller DD run. I’ll get 174 and 181 soon. 168 may take a bit.

Haven’t decided what my next run will be. Open to recommendations if you guys have storylines you like.

Also, @BenGrimm - the second issue of Waid-Samnee Batman and Robin hit stores this week.
