His art really freaked me out when I was younger but now I look at it and am blown away by a lot of it. It was a huge departure from what was on comic books for sure. And speaking of Mutants, did any of you read the New Mutants? I’m slowly grabbing the Stienkiwicz issues. May go back to issue 1 and just collect through the end of Bill’s run.
I only really picked it up for crossovers but I too recently started grabbing the Sienkiewicz issues recently. Only have the Demon Bear story so far. Hasn’t been a high priority. And speaking of Mutants, did any of you read the New Mutants? I’m slowly grabbing the Sienkiwicz issues. Haha. Same. I’ve grabbed issues 19, 22, 24, and 26. Random selections, but they’ve been the issues I’ve run across lately. For some reason I had issue 47 in my collection from my childhood. Only New Mutants I owned. I’ll try to finish out 18-27, then go 1 through 50 or so as I find them.I only really picked it up for crossovers but I too recently started grabbing the Sienkiewicz issues recently. That's freaking cool. Was talking to some friends of mine who have been in comics way longer than I have and they said that's where they always got someone to sign. Cover signing wasn't really a thing until maybe the 90s and later.Couple of weeks ago, I posted that I got this book for $5.

Finally got around to flipping through it tonight. Open the front cover, and what do you know. Mike Zeck autograph.

If you are into Mark Jewelers check out my buddy @west_coast_davengers live sales on YT. He lives near a military base in Washington and is always finding collections full of them.I have picked up a few in the past that turned out to be Mark Jeweler variants, but this is the first signed issue. Pretty cool. And was a good reminder to me to figure out how to identify things like that about my collection so my family has a better idea of what they’re selling one day down the road after I’m gone.
I’ll definitely check it out. I think I had his eBay store saved at one time. I don’t look for the MJ variants, but if I wind up with one, I’ll take it.If you are into Mark Jewelers check out my buddy @west_coast_davengers live sales on YT.
