For all of you "FANS" out there already trashing Dooley lets take a step back... Theres nothing you are going to be able to do about it..... If any thing you are bringing our program DOWN instead of getting behind our new coach and supporting him....

Every coach is NO GOOD untill they get a big break and PROVE what they can do!!!

Me personally my first impressions are good.... now lets wait and see what happens on the football field in the next 2-3 years and go from there!!!

Any way all im saying is coach saban and CPF and Pete Carrol and all of these great coaches were in the VERY SAME POSITION AS COACH DOOLEY at one point in their career... NOW LOOK!!!

Its a gamble but thats what life is is one big gamble

So unless you want to get behind our Coach and "OUR" program then go put on some crimson and go be a damn bammer or something we dont need TRAIN JUMPERS HERE!!!!! NO MORE TRAINS IN KNOXVILLE ITS ALL ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!

Sorry i just need to vent because you can tell who the real FANS are!!

I am so excited about the future of our program. I absolutely love his statements about running the program with class and integrity and leading the young men to become better men, not just better football players.

P.S. Kiffin is an a$$hat.

I understand that from the perspective of not wanting to make other teams angry, but you have to admit that last season was a nice change in that it never seemed like the old staff was tucking their tails between their legs and letting our rivals beat us like dogs the way Fulmer and Co. did for years. I guess we'll see how this works out. Kiffin ran his mouth off a lot, but until a few days ago, it seemed like he backed down from a challenge.

Well i have to admit i liked what Kiffin and Co were doing.... but it was all an act in a way... after going through this experience it has reminded me of what Tennessee Football is about... I mean this is the wildest thing that has happened to TN Football in most of our lives!! I mean the CPF and CJM was not that long ago but we have been sitting just enjoying our football for years and then BAM!!! Everything went topsy turvy!!!

This is another new ERA... this is back to tradition with a newer generation of coaching in place now!!!

GO VOLS!!! and WELCOME COACH DEREK DOOLEY!!!

Was he my first choice no!! But, I liked the down home boy feeling during the press conference. I think he comes from good bloodlines and I am giving him a chance. My concern right now is recruiting, will we get them or not. As my son told me the other day, Dad why would I want to go to Tennessee or any other school if the fan base is trashing their coach and the school. I think the more positive we are (if the recruits are reading this and you know they are) let's show America who Tennessee really is. I think we can be recruits and help the coaching staff by just a few words of encouragement. And GO VOLS!!!!!

He def wasn't my first or second choice, but those guys wanted none of UT or you and I. So lets get behind this guy and if you don't like him, support the program or at the very least these players who are on their 3rd coach in 15 months. If you are TRUE VOL FANS, let the orange floweth through your veins!!!! GO BIG ORANGE!!! :rock::rock::rock:
