There is a place there that has a "Beach" sounding name that is awesome. Sorry but that is all I can remember about it.

A bit off topic (but close enough)......

Anybody know how difficult it would be to get some decent seats, at a decent price tomorrow night outside the arena????

UTGRAD, my friend that attends USC told me just to buy a 12 dollar ticket and you can sit about anywhere because they don't come close to selling out, but it will probably be different on a weekend and being a conference game

That arena in Columbia is huge (too large imo). I'm sure you will find tickets.

If you go to California Dreaming, make sure you go to Green's Liquor store (next door). They stop selling liquor at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in South Carolina. :crazy:

Been to Williams Bryce for UT/USC matchups, but never made it down for a b-ball game. Definitely makes the decision to drive down to Columbia a lot easier now. Thanks again y'all.

and I agree, the arena is really big. I thought it was a pretty nice place last year although UT fans are in the nosebleed sections.

Then after the game, you can go to 5 Points. There's a weed spot on Green St., also. :crazy:

Dont go to Maurice's. It might be the most openly racist business out there.

California Dreaming is nice. A bit pricey but very good food. Plus if you have kids, the trains go by.

If you want good SC BBQ, there are a couple places Carolina Wings is pretty good. Carolina Wings & Rib House

Just be aware that SC BBQ is made with a mustard base rather than Tomato or Vinegar.

D's Wings is a great place for wings, again a bit pricey, but good.

And the Flying Saucer has great beer and food, and... well take the fellas.
